Leadership
Second semester, students were responsible to become experts on two child cased assessments and teach their peers how to perform the test. My partner and I were assigned the Peabody Developmental Motor Scales 2, which was the first assessment presentation at the start of the semester. Leadership skills were shown throughout our presentation and assessment of a 18 month old boy, by not only teaching the class, but providing an example for classmates to follow. The PDMS-2 was also utilized as one of our practical examinations for the class, making peers feel comfortable to ask any questions in preparation for the exam. Taking responsibility for my peers' knowledge of these assessments to provide knowledge and understanding of the material utilized and developed my leadership abilities to carry throughout future semesters.
