Leadership
Third semester I participated in a wellness quest after previously participating in a kindness quest and gratitude quest. This exemplified leadership as I encouraged individuals to be the change in the world by demonstrating positive characteristics to enhance the quality of life. Individuals continuously showed appreciation to these quests, providing comments that demonstrated awareness and the willingness to participate in upcoming events. I feel that these groups bring individuals closer and develop positive characteristics that flourish throughout society. Here is my 30 day challenge.
Day 1: write 3 STG & 3 LTG
Day 2: cold shower
Day 3: drink 64 oz of h20...
Day 4: 200 push-ups
Day 5: stairs only
Day 6: take a yoga class
Day 7: find a healthy recipe to prepare
Day 8: go to sleep 1 hour earlier
Day 9: caffeine free day (failed that one)
Day 10: 5 minutes of deep breathing
Day 11: walk for 30 mins
Day 12: commit to eating breakfast (I love b*fast)
Day 13: 5 minutes of sit ups
Day 14: compliment yourself
Day 15: take a class at the gym
Day 16: detox with raw veggies
Day 17: wake up 30 minutes earlier
Day 18: full day break from technology
Day 19: run for 30 minutes
Day 20: invite someone over for dinner
Day 21: find something to laugh about
Day 22: 100 squats
Day 23: schedule an annual doctors visit
Day 24: de-clutter work space
Day 25: work out with a friend
Day 26: try something new! (rock climbing)
Day 27: go for a hike
Day 28: host game night with friends
Day 29: tell someone I love you
Day 30: share the experience
